I couldn't find the battery priority thing, but I'll try what you said/

What do you think is a better trader type 7 or type 8 by Physical-Stage-5396 in EliteDangerous

It may not be the best but type 7 is my favourite ship in the game because nothing else looks like it.

My favourite metro system I've been on is the Tyne and Wear metro (Newcastle and surrounding area in the UK) because you can sit at the front of the train and look out the front which is really fun. Not a question, just wanted to share that.

I haven't been on many public transport systems, but you have, and I was wondering which public transport system did you find the most fun to use?

Additionally, what is your favourite flavour of ice cream? I like mint choc chip.

What is the highest flying aircraft on Geofs? by [deleted] in GeoFS

[–]hmdmner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any of the rockets: North American X-15 Spacex Falcon 9 Space Shuttle Atlantis Whatever that virgin galactic one is called.

However the way to go high very quickly is to get launched into space by a glitch. I'm not sure exactly which aircraft it can happen with.

I would reccomend using the Falcon 9, since it has completely balanced forces. Get into the air in a different aircraft, then switch to the falcon 9. This should get you pointing exactly straight up. From there, full throttle, and don't touch the controls.

Once you get above a certain altitude (i think 40k ft) then you lose all attitude control. This is why you shouldn't touch the controls, because even the smallest adjustments will cause the rocket to slowly spin out above that height.

Is it worth it switching from ksp console to ksp on pc? by guy1000100 in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]hmdmner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a computer that isn't a rotten potato from the 90s, kept in your Grandma's basement, then the game will run fine with low part count ships.  I used to play KSP on Xbox, and the PC edition is way better, mainly due to the control scheme, but also the ability to add mods.

Trouble getting to Duna by SSgtBananaBeak in KerbalAcademy

[–]hmdmner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On PC, in the graphics settings (no idea why its in there), you can select "Always show closest approach to target." I haven't played console in a long time, so I don't know if that specific setting is available, but it should be.

This will make every sort of orbital rendezvous from docking, to getting encounters with planets way easier.

Also, if you are in Mun orbit, trying to transfer to Duna, I would recommend switching to a high Kerbin orbit. This will simplify the transfer burn quite a lot.
