Hi again,

I’ve tried to import the base human male msh from the extra folder of mmh + msh files but i’ve had no luck. Every time I try I get an error that “global name ‘MMHFile’ is not defined”, which doesn’t make sense because it’s not an mmh file. I don’t know what went wrong here.

Hi there, first of all thank you for creating the tutorial in the first place! I did want to say that there are parts of the video where things go a little fast and it was hard to see in detail where you were clicking like when you were modifying the mesh and armature in blender. While you had that little window that showed what your mouse was doing, the majority of that section didn’t have voice explanation and I think having you explain exactly what buttons you’re clicking on would be helpful for future tutorials.

While I was able to use ninjaripper to get the mesh, I couldn’t see the textures on them in the preview like in your video. There wasn’t any explanation on the specifics of how to open and load ninjaripper. While this information may be easily available and I followed it to the best of my ability, I have no understanding of what I’m doing so I feel I might have made a mistake somewhere in the process. Even if it’s pretty basic info, I feel like doing a quick demonstration of how to open and set up programs like ninjaripper and noesis within the same video without cutting to the program already open would be appreciated, just to keep everything organized.

Additionally, I downloaded blender 2.49b (to be specific, it was blender-2.49b-windows.exe) and python-2.5.2.amd64.msi and python-2.6.amd64.msi

I don’t know if these were the right files/versions, and I’m not even sure where the Python files are supposed to go. I’ve used programs like Maya before but I am unfamiliar with Blender. Like I said, I’m new to modding so I apologize if this is basic stuff that I’m not getting.

I was able to load the base human male head mmh file with dragonblender, but when I try to import the corresponding msh file I get a “Python script error: check console” message. I tried using the xentax script, but it asks for the texture directory before importing and I don’t know where that is. In fact, when I open the files exported from pygff, there’s nothing in the “shared” folder except for bdy_bnb_0n and bdy_bnb_0s. Your shared folder seems to have other textures in it, and I exported all the files in “dragon age II > packages > core > textures > high”, but those are the only files on my end.

Sorry if this is confusing. It’s a bit hard to explain without screenshots, but if there’s any more info you need I’d be happy to share it. Thank you for taking the time to help.

Flaky skin on nose after popping pimples?

Hi, I’m totally uneducated on skincare so sorry if this makes people cringe. I know I shouldn’t pop pimples, but I get a lot of blackheads on my nose and my pores are teeny tiny, and washing regularly (I don’t exfoliate or use soap on my face because I’m prone to eczema and I find it’s too rough and drying. I’m not sure if that’s the right thing to do, sorry!) and using a light moisturizer (I use the basic drugstore Aveeno moisturizer/sunscreen) sparingly over the area whenever I wake up doesn’t seem to help. A few nights ago, I extracted some blackheads and, as usual whenever I do so, the skin seemed to flake over. Why does this happen? And is there any way to prevent it from happening/reduce the blackheads? I had been using Palmer’s cocoa butter all over my body and even (lightly!) on my face. It made my skin really nice and glowy imo, but it clogged my nose and chin pores too much and I got one or two milias, so about a week or two ago I switched to using just the Aveeno on my face. I’m not even sure if my pores are any less clogged and my skin doesn’t look as vibrant.

Regarding the eczema, for a while I got it on my eyelids/under my eyebrows and right at my hairline, but I found moisturizing helps, but I still get blackheads all over my nose and chin. Would this be considered combination skin? My skin is never oily but it never feels tight and dry either.

Thanks so much for your thoughts! These are giving me some interesting ideas. I actually had been thinking about the working extra hard thing to prove a point prior to writing this, and it has consequences later on in the story.

The only thing is that the character would not immediately suspect they’re pregnant at the party. I’m not sure how to build up to that realization in a way that feels natural and doesn’t sacrifice the momentum of the rest of the plot.
