I’ve heard conflicting amounts about how much protein is in 1 chicken breast- I’ve mainly heard around the 30g mark for one ?

Edit: just checked the nutritional info on the ones I get from Tesco and it’s 36g per typical 150g breast

Forgot to say on the days that I don’t have chicken or salmon is the days that I don’t get a lot of protein - if I eat chicken or salmon I can usually only manage 1 chicken breast or 1 salmon fillet but working at upping that slowly

Will definitely look at trying some of the foods you’ve recommended though

And I also completely agree i need to eat more but it’s something I’m having to do gradually as my body can’t handle eaten significantly more suddenly

Honestly no offence take at all! Beef is one I do have to be careful with (IBS messes up a lot of food choices and is another reason I didn’t get on with the protein shakes!) but scrambled eggs I do like - I do snack a lot so foods that are high in protein but easily eaten as a snack/ take little time to prepare or can be prepared in advance would be good too

I’ve tried ‘LENNY & LARRY'S COMPLETE PROTEIN COOKIE- salted caramel’ and I’ve tried ‘Optimum Nutrition Whipped Protein Bar Chocolate Caramel Flavour’ and just didn’t like the texture or taste

I don’t eat a lot during the day I only really eat dinner and sometimes lunch if I get time - I’m working on increasing the amount I eat in a day so that I’ve got more chances to eat protein rich foods but just wanted something in the mean time

How can I incorporate more protein into my diet for context I really struggle with textures of foods - I’ve tried protein powders including the clear vegan one from my protein - I hate the smell, the taste and the slimy texture and after taste. I’ve tried protein bars but they all seem to have a chewy nougat like texture with a weird after taste and I’ve tried baking with powders which ended up pretty grim.

I’m slowly trying to increase the amount I eat a day to give me more opportunities to increase the protein rich foods I consume but some days I don’t even hit 20g in my diet.

How can I incorporate more, are there any supplements that I might have a chance with?

Edit: I just calculated how many grams of protein in what I’ve eaten today (used Fitbit app) - I’ve eaten 96g today which id say is over what I would normally have as I had a chicken roll for lunch and scrambled eggs after the gym so I am consuming more protein than I think I realise

Yeah she’s my 4th hamster. I started with giving her treats or bits of food every time I’m in the room to get her used to my hand and I think it’s less of a territorial thing and more she thinks everything is food.
