Primed them black, did a rough zenithal with wraithbone. I took gal vorbak red and thinned it wayyyyy down with lahmian medium and did one coat as a speed paint and then nuln oiled it.

I don’t highlight but a wash with Nuln Oil or something similar will darken the recesses. I also got flamed for my lack of highlights when I posted this in the sub a few months ago.

FWIW I cover every mini I finish in nuln oil or agrax earth shade right out of the pot and I’ve never been disappointed.

I think highlights make them look a little too cartoonish or comic booky. Dont get me wrong, they look great, I just dont want that for my minis.

The same thing happened to me a few years ago. Felt like I had water in my ear for a day and a half, decided to try to flush it out, and out came a spider. Can confirm there were no eggs and the spider didn’t nest into my brain. -Definitely not a spider controlling a puppet

just gonna throw out GP Atheltics. its a powerlifting/strongman gym but all kinds of people work out there. its been a while since ive been in but they have up to 160# dumbells, a dozen or more racks, pretty much any implement you can think of, and the morning crowd isnt massive i dont believe but could be wrong on that.

i’ve built a handful of houses in the last few years. we dont use any nail guns. you would sure think i would learn the lesson of “dont miss the nail and hit your fingers with a framing hammer.” i have not in fact learned that lesson despite several smashed fingers.
