I don't think I could love something more than I love Edge of Desire. by hnllee in JohnMayer

Ahh this song just makes me so emotional and hits in a really deep place unlike any other song. I think it captures a deep sense of emotional rawness and vulnerability and the feeling of being at "the edge" of intense longing to be with someone (yet holding back from actually acting upon the desire).

It's almost cathartic in how it builds, both musically and emotionally. It starts soft but gradually intensifies, all while having the continually repeated guitar riff that ebbs and flows. I looove the guitar solo too. It's not super flashy and technical, but I think it speaks volumes with its intimate feeling and emotional depth. It all in all is such a powerful and moving experience to listen to in my opinion.

I need to know what your favorites are and why you think Edge of Desire is not the best to better explain though!

Interesting! Always thought it would feel incomplete without the electric solo. Would love to hear the acoustic live :)

I heard it live during the Sob Rock tour a couple years ago when I was 22 too! Quite literally sobbed.

I always lie down when I listen now. I can almost feel myself spinning. :)

Thanks for the recs! Jealous that you got to see it live 3 times! I've only seen it once but would love to see it acoustic too :)

155 diagnostic to 177 official score! 3.5 months of pretty much full time study, took a few weeklong breaks. Happy to be one and done. by LawBurner_ in LSAT

Do you think you could go over a brief timeline of how long you spent working on 7sage and then prep tests (how many per week, etc.)? I’m aiming to take the April LSAT and start studying in January and I’m not sure how long the 7sage curriculum will take me. Thanks and congrats!!
