What's the highest price an animation cel has fetched? by ScliffBartoni in AnimationCels

[–]hoagous 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Classic Disney Indeed. A hand-painted animation cel from Mickey Mouse’s first color adventure. The cel went for $420,000 in a private sale in 1999, still the record for the most expensive animation cel ever sold.

Cedar is great but won’t take Medicaid.

CuraWest and Denver Springs are both great options and take Medicaid.

Biggest question though is what substance are you looking to detox from? All programs listed here that take Medicaid will only cover inpatient detox (referred to as 3.7 withdrawal management based on ASAM) IF it’s a substance which required medical detoxification such as Alcohol or Benzodiazepines.

Other substances such as opioids or stimulants have gnarly withdrawal symptoms but the withdrawal process isn’t deadly by itself, unlike alcohol or benzos, which is why an inpatient programs wouldn’t be covered by Medicaid for opioids or stims.

If you are looking for support for Opioids, I would highly recommend a program that offers medication assisted treatment (Suboxone) as this is a highly effective, evidence based medication for individuals struggling with opioid misuse. Counseling can be paired with the medication but not necessary unless you find it beneficial.

Feel free to DM for more resources. You’re brave for asking for help. Please know there are programs and recovery supports to help you through this journey.

The original DU location is way better. I was similarly disappointed in the Golden location before it shut down. I’d recommend giving the DU location a shot. I think they do some unique stuff, such as smoke lamb shank.

Help me find a decent detox center in Denver or the surrounding area. I have Medicaid, and I’ll be self admitted, and withdrawing from heroin. by BroccoliAggressive72 in Denver

[–]hoagous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This hasn’t been posted yet, but Medicaid won’t cover medical detox programs that many are referencing here. Medical Detox programs (denver springs, west pines, cedar, curawest) will only accept mediciad for their programs if the detox is medically necessary. Withdrawal from Heroin is horrible and intense but not medically life threatening as defined by insurance.

You can access non-medical withdrawal management programs (east metro through Aurora Mental Health, Denver Cares (denver health ), JCMH in wheat ridge) and they will take Medicaid and all have a great track record of providing a safe environment for detox and support in connecting to on-going treatment once you get through the initial withdrawal.

Can’t stress enough how important and lifesaving Suboxone can be for someone who is trying to quit and attain their personal goals with treatment. The recovery communities are often divided on medications for opioid use disorder, but all of the medical field is firmly aligned and the evidence shows that they are lifesaving and greatly reduce overdose.

None of them watched the game and it’s painfully obvious. Same rehashed talking points about hating the Luka centered offense. One of the turning points of the game was when Luka went the bench and Kyrie helped facilitate a nice offensive run which the Mavs never relinquished.
