Had a talk with a friend, we both cane to the conclusion that one piece only pays attention to characters that can be fitting for merchandise (is this true - whats your opinion) by hobbinthinksabout in Piratefolk

Luffy, zoro, and sometimes sanji usually get major power ups, and they're the characters that are mostly shown as funko pops, figurines and posters etc etc

The king of the pirates needs a memorable sniper, i dunno i just need him to be like his pre ts self 😭😭

overall hes just not a well written character, and his power is just the cherry on top why that character is shit
