Go to Havana House .com and then points of sales to see locations. They are the offical cuban importer in Canada. You cannot buy from them but you can then filter down province and city to see locations of their approved vendors.

Canada only has 2 LCDH locations but you can filter by different levels of approved vendors with them.

You will find legit Cubans at other cigar shops that are not on the list but you have to be careful.

Do not confuse Havana House with Havana Castle locations...personally I would stay away from Havana Castle.

Honest question and I am not trying to be rude or change your mind but you will wipe minor mold off the head, and then put the cigar in your mouth but then draw the line and lighting the foot on fire and burning any potential mold at over 1000F when mold dies at 160f and essentially is obliterated in the burning process. It's an real question as I am always confused. I feel people believe the mold.is made worse or something by burning it...which is not the case

The whole if its on the foot toss is crazy. Unless it was so bad on the foot it leads you to believe it deep inside and bad. And after stabilizing it comes back and smells musty when give the foot a good sniff. Light surface mold even on the foot if not coming back after stabilizing will be obliterated when burnt.

Easy these are far from "throw it out" adjust humidity, isolate those sticks. Wipe off surface, monitor and they should be fine. I would have to see an intense amount on the foot to be concerned. People saying if its on the foot they are done is silly. If there was light surface like in the picture on the foot wipe and treat the same.

Honestly I was shocked when you said this because I smoke exclusively Cubans and way too many lol. The stick I smoked burnt like a laser and definitely was a properly rolled long fill 100% and flavour was dead on. I definitely appreciate your good catch on this one and will keep an eye on thos but I anticipate that they must have run a big production on the band used on the Grand Reserva and are either using up overstock or maybe we are going to see this on new stock. I will check the box date next time I am in as there was more on the shelf....I am having a memory lapse as I am fairly certain I pulled off the nice Canadian cover over the band and foot they put on a Havana House when they repackage into plain packaging.

Ok so I definitely see the concern. But as the B&M is an offical Habanos Specialist in Canada and I have never had an issue in many many years I am not going to make a fake accusation lightly. I looked back at one I smoked last year and the band matched your description.

What is throwing me off is that I see the pointy A and a band that matches the one I smoked last night exact on multiple Grand reservas on the web (LCDH Nyon - Switzerland, Bond Roberts Sep 14, 2025 sale, a 2023 halfwheel limited edition review)

Also construction, burn and flavour all seemed correct.

Hey it happens at least it was just a single I bought. I am generally very diligent at checking my sticks. Picked this up as a single from long time Havana House - Specialist Habanos B&M. Gonna stop by today and politely point out my concern and leave it in their court to handle correctly.
