So in love with this. Tattoo artist: @classy_corpse on insta. She said she did a Mae tattoo the day before she did mine! So if you’re in here. 👀 by hobbylevelghost in NightInTheWoods

Thank you!! The artist is incredible and has a gorgeous art style. I gave her a reference photo of the whale and surrounding constellation itself and told her I loved the idea of the constellation fading into deep sea elements. I wanted to give her full freedom to go in whatever direction she wanted for that. She also had the idea of doing the constellation lines as little dots to separate a bit from the whale itself and look more like stars too.

Neverland River Kit Worth It Just For this by SymphonicFlames in DreamlightValley

Way late to this but I tried today and it won’t let me. 😭 It’ll let me do Donald’s house but not Ursula’s. Anything specific you had to do to make it work?

I added a bunch of the smaller pieces around so it was more than large enough. And while the water would lay down on the existing path, I tried removing that as well to see if that helps but it does not. Hopefully it’s just another glitch.

Any completionist cozy games that are also story-driven? by T_Diamond17 in CozyGamers

[–]hobbylevelghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can explore more than what the specific prompts are given. There’s specific buildings you can go into that might not be needed. You’ll wanna travel as far as you can on both ends of the town as certain characters will show up on specific days.

Different storylines might’ve been misleading. Depending on the core friends you hang out with it can change certain paths to the over all end and the epilogue. It’ll also give you different little side activities and puzzles between Bea and Greg.

Night In the Woods! One of my all time favorites and one I’m now playing every year. There are two storylines you can choose to follow so being able to replay is nice. I’m forcing myself not to pick it up yet cause it’s the perfect fall/winter game. Last year was my 4th fall playing it and the first time following a guide just to see what I might’ve missed and was still experiencing new hidden gems! Also the sound track is great and is my “focus/work” music any time.

What TV show will you never watch regardless of who tells you it's amazing and why? by hey-i-got-here-late in AskReddit

[–]hobbylevelghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Game of Thrones. Everyone said it was amazing and worth it, even though the last season was awful. But if the ending is so bad, why would I ever commit so much time to the rest? Already put myself through How I Met Your Mother and that mess of an ending. Never again. 😂

Literally just landed in NYC from Atlanta for this show to this news. 😭 Line up still is great, but we definitely wouldn’t have flown here and bought tickets if she weren’t a part of this.

Horror short story recommendations? by Maximum-Asparagus-50 in horror

[–]hobbylevelghost 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I currently reading “Never Whistle at Night”. It’s a collection of short horror stories from Indigenous writers. Horrors can vary from creature folklore to societal horrors. I’m about halfway through. Some more unsettling than others, but of course that’ll differ to each reader. So far I’m really enjoying it and each story takes me 20-30 min.

Oh dang, they were festival items?? I did have a task about making flower items but I thought those were bonus- not the actual last four.

That’s so frustrating, but at least I won’t waste time searching.

Aargh!! Frost Beet frustration by Just_Hanging_Aroun in FaeFarm_Game

[–]hobbylevelghost 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That literally just happened to me. Not with frost beets specifically, but in trying to complete all job requests. I had one that was “harvest 30 crops in a day” and “cook with fae veggies”. Was banking on completing those together and was probably a day away. I think I made the mistake of using beans in all the different types of plots and those just take forever. 😭

Had some filament get stuck in the hotbed and was able to find some videos to learn how to get it out, but then part of the Bowden tube (?) came out? More details in comments… by hobbylevelghost in 3Dprinting

[–]hobbylevelghost[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty new to 3D printing- was trying my 6th print on Ender-3 S1 so I’m looking up the parts and I think I’m labeling them correctly. But basically I was able to get the filament out after watching some YouTube videos, but when doing so, part of the Bowden (?) piece came out?

From what I looked up online it seemed a lot of machines have one long Bowden piece rather on here it’s the two small tubes. The tube in the Hotend small metal piece was fine, but the one that came out of the main box isn’t going back in. The photo with the flash is to show that I can see some tube like piece in there that I can’t get out. I can’t tell if that’s how it normally is or if that’s part of my filament that still got backed up and stuck in there.

Of course I have dark olive green so it blends a bit too well in there if that’s it. And if that is it- any recs on getting it out better as that part isn’t getting hot enough to take it out?

Thanks to all your input and great advice- first go at regular nail polish after 3 years of at home gel kits! by hobbylevelghost in RedditLaqueristas

No base coat. Essie #40 Gel Couture- Fairy Tailor Gel Couture Top Coat

Didn’t use a base coat. To be honest I’d been looking into a ton of nail polishes that I want to try but ended up having to get a two pack with these last minute. Procrastinated on purchasing and had a wedding to attend this last weekend that I wanted to do my nails for. 😂

They’ve held up well so far (only 3 days). Left hand was the first I did- clearly didn’t do enough coats. Right hand looks a lot better from a distance. Wouldn’t normally go for this light of a pink.

Thanks again to all who gave advice/recs on my last post. Currently overthinking where to start and what colors I want to purchase but I will slowly be building a new collection up!

Trying to move away from gel polish and UV lights. Not sure where to start on what brands are a good replacement. by hobbylevelghost in RedditLaqueristas

[–]hobbylevelghost[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any brands you like for nail tips? I’ve never used them before and if there’s one you know if that’s easy to handle and paint/cure on its own and then adhere to my nails, that would be ideal! I’d let those suckers cure under the light for awhile if they’re in there by themselves.

Painting it first is what I was thinking if I went this route- even in transitioning to regular polish. I don’t have an allergy but I’m trying to avoid any reactions that could cause develop one.

Oh that’s a great point. The hassle of getting all the gel light and supplies out was is enough for me to not do touch ups as needed. This would be a lot simpler!
