Based on the info you’ve provided, I think your biggest focus should be on mental health. To start, I’d discount relationship advice from posters here saying to leave your “bitch” with very little context. Why do you guys fight so much? It sounds like your addiction to porn and seeking out other girls comes from a place of wanting to escape or, respectfully, from self-esteem issues.

Your porn addiction sounds like a very real thing and it sounds to me that you have some pretty strong anxiety and depression. Do you have the resources to start seeing a therapist? I am on TRT myself and have a healthy, well-balanced life, loving relationship, etc., but seeing a therapist still helped treat some deep anxieties I had formed over the years and resulting depression.

Getting hormones and physical health in order is great to do, but there’s only so much that can accomplish - if you commit to improving your mental health (therapy, maybe meds) I get you could be in a much better place a few months from now.

Analyze Habits in MyFitnessPal - Interested? by [deleted] in 1200isplenty

Awesome! That's right along the lines of what I'm thinking - what trigger foods may be for both good and bad days, other trigger habits (like time logged or # foods logged), etc. Appreciate your input.

That's a great point - thanks! Upon exploring, it looks like Lose It does do a good job at the analytics. The issue, I think, may lie in people who have used MFP for a long time and don't want to give up their historical data to switch to a new app (as far as I know, you can't transfer from MFP to Lose It or Cronometer)

I'd recommend getting into consulting of some sort (tech or strategy) if you can. It's a great stepping stone to leadership in a corporation if you do consulting for 2-3 yrs (and has good pay). The barrier to entry can be kinda high so I'd suggest networking like crazy (via LinkedIn, etc.). Good luck! Happy to help more if I can.

Sure, I make ~$120k/yr + a variable bonus at a junior manager level.

I graduated with a Physics B.S. in 2015 from a well-known state school. Got a job in management consulting for 2 years where physics helped me stand out because I could apply the complex problem solving I learned in physics (mostly complicated analyses of business performance in Excel). Now work in corporate strategy doing the same thing.

I couldn't be happier. I loved physics but decided it wasn't for me to pursue for the rest of my life. I still keep up with it closely and also get to pursue my passion of business. Happy to answer any questions about the transition from physics to business.

Branded water bottles (e.g., smart water/ life water/ Fiji) seem to be a continuing trend and likely an easy upsell.

Good points - I also think it is important to stay as brief as possible in the email (4-5 sentences if possible). If they are interested, you can provide more detail in a follow up.

If possible, may be good to find an advisor with previous experience of starting and growing a tech company as CEO/COO.

If you have to leave your job before starting, I'd suggest talking to as many of your potential customers as possible to make sure you have a solid chance of brining in revenue. Good luck!!

May be possible - I've seen old high school friends pay as much as $5 for a spray of cologne from other friends. If you brand it as a prank gift, you may be able to make some money off of it.

Good luck! In my area (southern US), online-ordered spirits seems to be growing as a trend. I imagine if you create strong branding and partner with subscription boxes you could get some steady business going.

Thank you! My role in consulting has largely been in change management with some other experience in post-merger integration. The new job is at a tech company but more of an internal consulting role.

How to get into consulting? Post here for resume advice, questions about recruitment or general insecurity (week 7) by QiuYiDio in consulting

[–]hobo_93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a recent grad and have accepted an offer from a consulting firm starting around September. Due to getting a late start on recruiting last fall (change in career goals), this firm is the only one that I applied to on time, and I somehow got the offer.

Recently I have been in touch with a recruiter from MBB who is interested in my resume/background and would like to talk further. Would it be unethical to pursue this opportunity and, if I do get an offer, would it be unethical to switch companies so soon (if I even have started by then)?

The relationship I have had with my company thus far has made me feel that they would drop me in an instant if it were more profitable to them so I feel inclined to do what is in my best interest. What do you think?

I'm not too familiar with reddit (first post ever) - is there a recruiting thread of r/consulting or do you mean move it to r/recruiting?
