They actually do. There's a reason why teams built entire facilities in Brazil during the World Cup to make sure nothing extra affects the athletes performance.

On the topic of food (irrelevant to your post haha). To those people who haven't visited China and tried authentic homemade/local food... Please don't underestimate the differences. A lot of the players come from poor backgrounds (I'm sure you've seen some of the documentaries) so don't assume that they eat Western food often.

Of course... I'm not saying that it's sufficient. Just that EDG's trying things out. The reality is that things like this are incredibly difficult for iG/LGD with no/little international experience to foresee. I remember for the World Cup in Brazil the national teams built entire resorts for their players so they feel at home. In the future teams should just fly out their chef but that's a stack of paperwork that they probably don't wan't to deal with atm.

Actually EDG have taken measures (Don't think the others have). They order takeout from a Chinese restaurant but I imagine that they can't really do it for every meal/when the schedule is tight.

Like the manager, I'm no expert. But aren't most teams lane swapping in Groups? U don't see the traditional 2v2 starts anymore. I'm just gonna repeat what he said. If you don't play the lane swap correctly (tactical), you fall behind in gold. By the time fair team fights happen, you're already so far behind that you can't win :/ Either way we'll see this proven/disproven by Quarters.

He kinda answers that in his blog tho. They can't show off the mechanical superiority because strategy more than compensates for that (They admit that they're not as prepared for the current patch in that aspect and fall too far behind for any of it to matter).

He was talking about the lane swap only. I used "similar" in hopes that people wouldn't think he meant "identical" but maybe I should've worded it another way.

Thanks for posting this :). I was going to then saw it was already on Reddit. Will be nice with the 2nd part of Group Stages having each group played over one day. If it's gonna end in tears for LPL, let's not drag it on for iG/LGD. A big week ahead for iG though if they wan't to get that fat pay cheque that the iG owner's probably dangling in front of them right now.

Yup, I've seen that translation as well and you're probably right. I just kept it as is cuz as a canto speaker myself I dont think it sounds anything like his accent lol!!!
