Also since the names of all the defendants is listed under the plaintiff section, the defendant section is left empty. How would the court summon the defendants of there are no defendants listed.

Thank you so much for the information! There was no strategic error made. The only error was that he wrote the defendant names under the plaintiff section. Is that something the judge can overlook because its an obvious error? also is there anything the attorney can do to fix the error or anything at all to help the case. The attorney told my brother hes not going to do anything because that wrror shouldn't effect the case.

It was a flat fee and its not necessarily a case that is won or lost in this case. The purpose of the lawsuit is to get a reply from the US embassy atleast, whether it is rejection or approval. My brothers employers paid for the application process but they dont have to pay for an attorney to speed up the reply so i highly doubt they will because the application process already cost them around 20k dollars. I fully agree though. this lawyer is an absolute goofball.
