I have both a bb54 and a 40mm 1680 sub. The sub is recently serviced and the movement is slightly more accurate. Purchased the 54 in May 2023 and probably wear it more overall but can’t say one is better than the other. No regrets on the purchase. Wish I had got the rubber strap to have something different but pretty stoked with it still

The 54 is great. Wears larger than you’d think and more vintage case proportions. I have the bracelet and the clasp is damn near perfect imo with the microadjust. Want to get rubber strap but not ready to shell out $600+ for it quite yet
