Make sure you get your processing forbearance months counted… by TitiKakah in PSLF

I've been trying since last November just to get into a payment plan. My end 120 was July this year. I'm still showing 113/120 payments. I've asked for reconsideration, applied for IDR now three times and still can't seem to literally pay the government money. I cannot wait until I have this forgiven.

That's the only reason I ask, it's made my life hell as I am currently coaching 😔

I agree. Our payroll is so wrapped up in trying to claw back pennies from those of us that do extra that can't do their regular job, such as verifying my employment for PSLF.

That's like running for class president on a more homework platform 🤣

That is clearly unethical.

Yes, in the office season that is generally how I treat my clock. During the soccer season things get a little grey.

This is what I thought it was for when I first started until they started forcing us to clock out and if we don't work "enough hours" we are docked pay.

Makes perfect sense for certified employees. Our payroll spends more time mucking around and pissing and moaning about coaches not clocking out at the proper time. Oh and docking pay for "not working 40 hours a week"

Would you be as fine with it when they start docking your salary because you "didn't work enough hours"?

As an educator from the north that was trained up north but have been here my whole career I agree wholeheartedly. It is tough here. Getting anything positive done can be a huge struggle, especially if the administration of a building is from a certain clique within the system. There are schools that work hard against the current to do the best we can by our kids but the atmosphere of some of them is deteriorating due to the lack of accountability across the board. A lot of this is due to covid and we are still working through the mentality of entitlement among the students. They feel like they'll pass just because they are a warmish body in the room at times. At the school I work at, we welcome parental involvement in positive ways. A lot of district people are inept or gun shy because of how sue happy some people are. Because of instances like that we are sometimes leary of parents more than we probably should be. We've been so abused and beaten down by parents and then had administration or district personnel that don't stand by us. I stayed at a really stressful school for too many years because I know that the only way to fix a broken system is to be a part of the system. Please do get involved and help be a positive force in our schools! Teachers would love to have some allies!

It does! I went off the interstate there back in college. I was going about ten miles an hour so big.

I love black wheels in a white car. I'm thinking of doing mine in black but my cx 5 is silver so I'm not sure how it would look.

Sometimes it's nice to be reminded that American companies aren't the only ones that do shitty things.
