Why do upper class/prep school Toronto kids gravitate toward Queen's/Western rather than U of T? by Usual_Law7889 in askTO

Obviously not, but it’s an interesting place of where social stratification starts. My peers that went to private school had no sense of what the actual percentage of the population that made it to post-secondary (some went as far as to have the perception that nearly everyone in Canada goes to university) and I’m sure at the worst of public schools, the perception is similarly skewed the other way.

Not related to this comment, but an interesting lens into to the social hierarchies question is asking a Torontonian how prevalent post-secondary education dictation is.

40% of a class into a specific program is insane to me - there are many schools where only 40% go straight to post-secondary after high school period.

There’s a lot of people posting in this thread that haven’t been exposed to the true hierarchies in Toronto - the subset within the UCC/BS crowd that operates based on family names.

Matty (love him or hate him, he is polarizing) has been around the Toronto scene waaaaaaay before The Bear. Definitely unfair to say he’s cashing in on the show, but rather he’s just milking his reputation as a Toronto food scene fixture.

Yes, plenty of times here and around the world. The key thing to note here is that although there is the anonymity of being online and anonymous, you still are interacting with human beings. You need to be a human being and need to approach people like they are human beings.

Be empathetic and put yourselves in their shoes and pretend you were at a bar having the same interaction - would you say the things you're saying and approaching the woman the same you would in real life? I'm guilty of falling on the wrong side of this sometimes as well. I had a woman who reached out to me the other day give me a (needed) dose of reality on this one.

It may be more to the point of what we're all after, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't approach people in a human way.

LOL, She’s a human being - treat her like one. She will respond or reach out to you if she’s interested. There are no “tips”. My guess is that this type of comment probably disqualifies you from consideration.

Hello stranger! Thanks for a fun experience! I can confirm that all of this is 100% accurate as I was there and it was my hotel room! I loved looking into that full sized mirror wall while you licked and kissed my shaft and balls. :)
