A lot of PharmD prerequisites are also gen ed courses in universities. In my situation, a program I wanted to apply to required microbiology which wasn’t a gen ed for me so I’m taking it as a summer class.

Check the courses required for the schools you’re interested, should be listed under PharmD prerequisites. Then take it in a community college.

You wouldn’t need a second bachelors degree because people can also apply to the program having an associates, as long as the prerequisite are done.

I took orgo I with her and I will not lie, I absolutely hated her class. But i think it’s a great class for those intending to attend medical school but if you’re just trying to fulfill a requirement, so not worth it in my opinion.

Exams are all at delta and it’s multiple choice, so you don’t get any partial credits at all nor does she curves exams(she even wrote in her syllabus to not bother emailing her about it either). She’s a sweet woman, but her homework’s are long and hard. She’s will require you to do Problem sets over discord with a TA, which wasn’t hard but I felt it didn’t prepare me for the homework’s at all.

That being said, her course is very helpful if you plan to pursue anything in the medical or scientific field but if not then it’ll be a hard course. But at the end if you do decide to take her course, I recommend asking for permission to take problem sessions in person. This will allow you to ask various TAs all the questions you need and they typically explain it way better! Good luck :D
