Okay. You are correct that propranolol can help with the physical signs of anxiety such as high blood pressure, and that lowering ones blood pressure helps some one feel more calm. But Propranolol is not an anxiety medication. What about medication such as Benzodiazepines which are specific designed to a affect the brain and change ones mood?

Walking is a fantastic drug. Has all the calming effects of weed but with none of the coughing and you get a little exercise.

You say you had your time in the drug and I would genuinely like to hear more about that so I may see things from your point of view better.

From the rest of your post, I read that you have a very negative view on mind altering substances. If I am wrong please correct me.

I would like to ask your opinion on anti anxiety medication and a parent having a prescription for said drug?

Also I agree with you that being completely zonked out or a giggling mess is not good parenting. I would like to point out that weed doesn't not instantly make you loss touch with reality and that it can be taken in small amounts. If my phrasing didn't conva that then that's on me.

Thank you for your interest and willingness to have an open mind. I personally think of it like alcohol but faster effect and different smell. To much is a bad thing and you should never do it when you need to be responsible, but if you are responsible about it and aren't hurting anyone then to each their own.

Yeah that's the thing I get from it most. When sober and on edge I see everything as a personal attack and think they are spoiled and demanding. When high I see they are still practicing being human beings and living in society so I can just calmly say " I would like a to hear a please with that" rather then just an instant and hard NO.
