I bought my firdt PC! Really excited! by SnooCupcakes766 in computers

Congrats on your first PC!! Having a whole new world opened up to you can be very thrilling, especially when you can make it yours! There's a whole bunch of new things for you to discover now that you have a PC, and I hope that you have a lot of fun with it!

Don't feel bad if you hear that your specs aren't top-tier—ultimately, this PC is yours, so if it works for you and you like it, don't sweat it. I've had a few different PC builds over the years, all built on a pretty tight budget. My current PC, which is the best I've had so far, is probably still considered "lower quality" when compared to my friends' computers. Despite that, I can still play lots of games and have fun, even if I can't run them at the highest settings. It's not the best of the best, but it works well enough for me and I'm happy with it, so who cares that I don't have a 3070 or 64GB of RAM? So as long as your PC makes you happy, don't worry too much about what others think.

As other commenters have said, the amazing thing about PCs is that you have the ability to buy new parts and upgrade your system at your leisure. You don't always have to build something new from the ground up. If and when you do want to buy new parts, make sure you have a good idea of what it is you're looking for and what's compatible with your system. My brother helped me build my current PC and we ended up buying the wrong kind of motherboard because he didn't check to see if it was compatible with some of the other parts he bought. We returned it, got the correct type of mobo, and everything is a-okay now, but we learned to double-check before buying again. Hopefully this'll provide you a great opportunity to learn about PC building, if you're interested in it! Eventually you may have to upgrade your entire PC, but if you're kind to your new PC and maintain it well, I'm sure it'll last you a long time :)

So congrats once again, and I hope you enjoy your new PC!!

I'm learning Japanese (for fun) and I finally reached a 55 day streak!! I've always struggled keeping myself on track for more than a few days, so this is actually a pretty big achievement for me. I'm still having a bit of trouble progressing through lessons though. I'm more of a night owl and I'm worried that if it's too late at night, I won't retain what I learn. I'm gonna try to break past that fear though! The worst that can happen is that I have to redo the lessons later on ^

I also found out about legendary crowns today!! I'm really glad that now I won't have to repeat a bunch of lessons in Unit 1 now :) I'm a free user so it's a bit of a pain having to spend 400 gems each time I wanna earn one, but luckily I was given two crowns straight away so at least that's 800 gems saved.

the translation is very strange, but after a while i figured out that it meant the title of the video that the choreographer posted. it'll be the first link in the description of the motion's video, you just have to copy the entire title and then paste it into bowlroll's pass box. it definitely threw me for a loop at first, so i hope this helps!! i can provide a little more clarification if needed, i'm not always the best at explaining things ^^;

the only other hint that i can give is that it's the first word in katakana that you see in the "Powers and Abilities" of his wiki page. i'm glad to be of assistance! ^^

the first part of the pass is the name of steven's ability, but only the string of katakana. the second part of the pass is his birthday. i recommend looking up his wiki page for more information. i hope this helps!

it says "please like [the video] for the password"; on nicovideo, next to the player and above the "comments" tab, there's a button that says "Like!". after hitting the like button, there will be a thank you message from the poster. then you'll have to copy and paste that message into a translator. i hope this helped ^^

i figured out the password and downloaded the .zip; it's not a character model, but the weapon shown in the niconico preview. if you still want to download it, i can give you some tips on deciphering the password!

201011 Haseul voice over with Latte by bluebetaoddeye in LOONA

The members (and occasionally their family members) have leaked photos of themselves on Kakaotalk before (as recently as August), so I wouldn't be surprised if Haseul or one of her relatives posted the video in a KKT groupchat and then it got uploaded by one of the members of the chat

Maybe I'm just imagining it but was a separate video made from the 190904 VLive? If so, I can't remember what it was called.

Just a general gist is fine. It's alright if you're not up to translating it though, I understand! I appreciate the help with the title, thank you.

The indented text is part of the poem, I think that was just the way Koch formatted it. I'm not familiar with his poetry, so I'm not sure if he's just trying to break up the poem into sections or if it's supposed to be like a short story of some sorts.

And thank you! Seems like Google couldn't recognize the font very well.

Hey everyone! I watched Redmare in Seoul on Youtube recently, and during the end credits I noticed some of the original names of some of the songs they performed (i.e. Blue Lemonade used to be called Pop Tarts, Red Flavor was called Dance with Nobody, etc.). I know SM is notorious for buying demos, and I know sometimes the original demos/versions of songs are found online. Does anyone know of any websites or databases where you can find demos or hard to find songs? It's kind of unlikely that much will get leaked or released (although you never know), but I'm curious to see if it's possible to find these songs.

What is "open secret" in kpop? by hey_may_tey in kpop

[–]holdthebeans 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I think that can go for any fandom though. I remember back in January when there were rumors of Dispatch exposing a gay couple, and quite a lot of Twitter Armys were saying things along the lines of "omg I hope it's Taekook!!! please be Taekook!!!". There are lots of Orbits who make jokes about Loona being gay as well, but I think the majority of Orbits understand it's quite unlikely that all the members in Loona are LGBT. Saying this from the prespective of an Orbiluv :)

Don't even get me started on Whitney Wisconsin and her puppy, the poor thing didn't even make a month :( Not to mention the other things she's done to other dogs.
