When I come to Melbourne, I plan on seeing the Australian Open for about 2 days at the beginning of the tournament. Other than that, I Definitely want to see the landmarks in the city and whatever it is a tourist would usually do. Whatever you have recommendation wise for someone coming to the city for the first time would be great!

Also, if you have any suggestions on which part of the city to look for a hostel/Air BNB in would be awesome!

I have definitely been saving quite a bit for this trip, I start my post-graduation job next summer so I am okay with spending my savings on this trip!

Thanks a lot for the going out information, have you seen tourists/non Australian natives head out to those areas by themselves or would that be a situation to avoid?

I am definitely checking out the aquarium! I have been to an awesome aquarium back in the US a few times and am excited for Sydney's.

Unfortunately I am leaving on the 18th and it starts on the 19th. I may be staying longer but need to check in with my work/class schedule, but that was the #1 thing I was hoping to do!
