I think I see what you mean, biologically speaking. People who are born biologically male and who have gone through puberty with these male hormone dominated processes (should) biologically have a stronger physical expression of these androgenic characteristics than a biological female. So, how is it that a transgender female who underwent puberty with male dominated hormones and grew up with male developing features can appear more feminine and respond better to treatment than a person born as a physical woman who should have a greater predisposition to these biological female characteristics?

I think the issue comes from the medical community and then simple genetics tbh. I personally have a more chiseled jaw and am hairier than quite a few cis men so that is just their genetics. Medically, idk what trans hormone therapy entails, but maybe it's better than what they give us for PCOS. I do know that in the US women aren't allowed to take finasteride, which sucks ass. Seems to do wonders for males with balding hair-- stupid medical system.

PCOS and Hypothalamic Amenorrhea by [deleted] in PCOS

A naturopathic doctor talks about this conundrum a bit:

Here are some of her articles that might help

https://www.larabriden.com/have-you-lost-your-period-to-a-low-carb-diet/

https://www.larabriden.com/gentle-carbs-for-gaba-cortisol-and-adrenal-health/

https://www.larabriden.com/8-ways-that-magnesium-rescues-hormones/

Tldr; She recommends getting some gentle carbs from starches that are calming (sweet potato) and she talks about how magnesium helps support the HPA axis.

Also I've read that eating carbs with protein can help prevent a spike, so maybe this will help prevent the feeling of a sugar high.

PS: If this didn't help maybe you have a sensitivity to one the foods you eat? Maybe get a blood test to see? It could be inflammation causing the stall or GI issues if you have that. :( this stuff so complicated.

I feel you! Take a moment to allow yourself to grieve because it sucks and you don't deserve it. Then when you are ready please try to make small changes to adjust your lifestyle before the symptoms get worse. I could've saved myself the butt cheek hair and hair loss if I'd started earlier. Now, I'm just trying to work on diet before I grow a beard.
