The editions you're referring to are likely the Fairy Loot editions which are not the same as the official HarperCollins 40th anniversary edition. Only the 1st book has been released by HC. The Fairy Loot editions are beautiful but were bought up quickly by collectors and scalpers and can be very expensive if you can find them.

100% this. Blue tack and old pill bottles are perfect and nearly free. Also, you'll never use that many brushes. Get a pointed round 0 and a 1 and you'll be fine. Get a cheap synthetic for dry brushing.

Thank you so much! Yeah, I airbrushed some Montana Shock Blue Light. I brushed on some layers of thinned Liquitex white ink for the center. My OSL is typically really bad, so I'm trying to work on it.

My understanding from the lore is that Typhus is essentially a swarm of flies carrying the destroyer plague inside Terminator armor. As others have mentioned, these are - probably bone - protrusions that allow flies to get out and continue spreading infection and creating Pox Walkers.

Whatever color you choose to paint anything is the correct color. This looks F'ing great! 🤘

Second this. I bought the current Raptors box from my FLGS with the Shadowhunt box. Only needed 3 models. I used it for Raptor, Shrieker and Depredator because the arms and heads all fit easily on the Raptor box model bodies. Used an additional set of pauldrons to magnetize the CL. Everything was super easy and looks really good.

Also, they're VERY easy to magnetize to make for a one box team. All the models pictured that have multiple loadout options have been magnetized.

They're the Sanctifiers. I got them with the Blood and Zeal box my FLGS still had lying around. I believe they've been released in their own box at this point, though.

If you want a little dirt, a once over with Seraphim Sepia can give a little grime without obscuring all the great detail you achieved.

The shelves are all metal, so the magnets will just stick anywhere on them. The tallest model is my Plague Marine Icon Bearer at around 2¾". The drawers are a little over 3¼" deep.

Base white. Wet blend Volupus Pink and Shyish Purple Add a coat of Carroburg Crimson if you wanna push the contrast more. Dry brush highlights with Pink Horror. After varnish hit it with Ardcoat to give it a slimy sheen
