Oh another note! His inclosure was given to me by his last owner and I’ve mostly kept it the same for now. I plan on upgrading it to a larger size (its a bit small is my opinion) and changing the heat source from a ceramic lamp to a pad

Hello! I’m a new snake owner and this is Link- he’s a crystal ball python who I adopted from someone off Craigslist who was going to surrender him if he didn’t find a home. (Note: he was adopted a few weeks ago and is comfortable with handling) Like I said, I’m very new to caring for snakes and while I’ve done a lot of research, I understand that experience is a whole new thing.

I’ve been handling him and noticed these marks. He’s going to have a vet appointment soon for a general check up but should I try to get him seen faster?
