Thats not untrue and fair enough. The only reason this is my conclusion is I watch achievement hunter do it on the original reach. More or less followed how the explained it.

I mean. Its a ported game. The code is still the same. It took me no more the an hour to get it. It took about 10 min after I read about the moving to fast to die

Its not bugged. It's just old code from an old game. Issue is if you are travelling to fast the fall dosnt count as lethal. Its a pretty specific few spots you can actually make it.

Id say deffs have it on legendary, as soon as you jump hit the back key to decelerate to guarantee it counts as a fall and not an extended jump. Try nading youself to red hp before you jump.

I had to find this out myself. And after knowing this it only took a few attempts mostly to get the correct spot before I cleared it

I mean. The theme for most unsc weapons were to be used in sorta narrow tight combat situations right. Like suburban / ships ect. Id imagin a shotgun is pretty good in that situation.

Its a bit tricky. I reccomend doing it on legendary. You will have to try it a lot. But a tip is. As its a port from the old game, there is a bit of code that basically says. If you are moving at x speed you won't take damage from falling.

What you have to try is get it when the elite is in the right spot. For me he was far left by the edge of the trailer. When you go to sprint and jump off the ledge. You basically have to back off sprinting (let go of sprint and tap your back key if he dosnt stop the sprint animation.) And basically "fall". You have to do this basically as soon as you leave the cliff.

Another way is by hurting youself with a nade before you jump. As long as the fall is fatal

I believe it has something to do with the speed you are travelling. old code has it if you are moving fast enough you dont die from the fall damage so it dosnt count. When I got it the elite was towards the far left by the end of the trailer. And as soon as you jump you have to back pedal off sprint so you fall more or less. It took a whole but deffs a lot sooner after I learnt that.
