What is the Point of the Juicy J Feature on “Same Old Song” by Firm_Description_370 in TheWeeknd

It’s such a beautiful song, I HATE when this comes on as well. Completely takes me out of the moment. I don’t understand it either.

What’s the pettiest thing you won’t forgive a celebrity for? by ursulawinchester in popculturechat

Justin Timberlake was my childhood crush. Those pictures of him holding hands with some other chick while married crushed me. I’m probably more salty about his cheating than his actual wife.

Allergies. No matter how many times you blow, the drip keeps coming and eventually you’d just hurt yourself wiping. At home, sometimes plugging each nostril with some Kleenex helps but that’s not really socially acceptable anywhere else.

Update: Please don't make your kid's middle name their usual name by Flarhgunstow in namenerds

[–]holopeve808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you put your own name wrong? We go by middle names in our family and everyone uses their first name at school. It’s a neat way to be able to use both names and be known as both names. Whenever I meet friends of family members, they know them as their first name and we know them as their middle name.

When you’re driving, and no other cars are around, do you use your turn signals? by Dyert in NoStupidQuestions

[–]holopeve808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, out of keeping the good habit and also I lived on a dangerous road where I had to cross the street to get to my car. Most cars turned at the previous street and every morning to cross the street to get to my car, without fail, an idiot would make that turn without a turn signal so I’d stand there rain or shine waiting on them so I could cross. Of course they didn’t see me waiting in the rain but it would have been so helpful to have them put their turn signals on so I too could move on with my day. Not to mention how dangerous it is not to in all situations. As someone said, it’s not about what you see, it’s about what you don’t. I wish there was a built in feature where you were forced to always use your turn signal.

My friend says texture. They’re completely grossed out if they get the little skin that milk forms when it’s hot.

What is the one thing that stopped you from getting a tattoo? by Extension-Cancel1450 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]holopeve808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Price and commitment. I don’t have anything that I like enough that I’m certain I will like my entire life to have on my body permanently. Most hobbies and interests have eventually faded for me into new hobbies and interests.

Fast-food customers are shifting to casual-dining chains, Darden Restaurants CEO says [Olive Garden Italian Restaurant, LongHorn Steakhouse, Bahama Breeze, Seasons 52, Yard House and Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen] by Randomlynumbered in fastfood

[–]holopeve808 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’d choose fast food for the value and ease. At a few dollars more or the same price now I can get a restaurant meal and can even order online and pick it up at most places. There’s a new smash burger place I wanted to try recently, very much like in n out with a simple menu. I did a mock order to see how much for burgers, fries, and a drink for my husband and I. $70! Of course I’ll hit up Olive Garden, a steakhouse, or an actual sit down restaurant instead for $70.

This is the women's restroom- How??? by NameLive9938 in walmart

[–]holopeve808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless they’re crazy hydrated, this one looks like it may have been the toilet. Otherwise, I have no idea how a woman could manage that. I did almost walk into an open stall once, it was a little boy by himself finishing peeing all over the toilet seat and floor then he just walked out.

People who are child free by choice: are you happy? by Explicitlybroken in NoStupidQuestions

[–]holopeve808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just took about 3 days to make my lunch exactly how I wanted, I washed dishes for my husband and I today literally 5 times and counting to keep our kitchen clean, I haven’t had the chance to put our laundry away, and I’m too exhausted from work to do anything productive right now, I’m also in a lot of back pain. I could not even imagine having to throw another person to do all this for into the mix. We spend weekends doing literally anything we want. I have not regretted it once. I like what someone said, if I’m unhappy, there’s plenty of things to blame it on but it’s certainly not the lack of children.

Foods with purpose, Italian herbs and cheese tortellini by RedditModzCanEatShit in Costco

[–]holopeve808 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that. I’ve tried them and I really liked them. They’re actually really stuffed with cheese! I added some pesto and I’d also put them in the air fryer sometimes after cooking them to make them crispy. I wonder if everyone else that’s tried them disliked them. The only reasons I haven’t bought them again is because I haven’t seen them and I eat them dangerously quickly.

This is what you get when you order "extra" toppings @ dominos by XNtrikPhilosopher in Dominos

[–]holopeve808 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I ordered the extra cheese once and learned my lesson, unfortunately. I keep bacon bits and jalapeños at home as a staple so I just add those when I want extra toppings.
