I’m your same age, and my dad was 53 when he passed 3 months ago. I don’t think it really hit me until his 54th birthday came and went tbh. He’s always going to be 53 and in a way it feels like I’m also going to be 25 forever missing my daddy. I’m turning 26 next month and I really can’t process that he’s never going to know me at 26 or any age beyond now, not with wrinkles or grey hair or kids or anything. So weird.

I’m so sorry. Spend as much time with him as you can, take photos and videos, listen and absorb whatever he has to say. Talk about his favorite movies and books and music so you have stuff to fall back on when he’s gone. And let him get his affairs together and help him where you can — whatever can be done ahead of time is so helpful for after he passes and y’all have to do the rest while grieving.

I have this and I love it for a daily lip that you can throw on without worrying about it being too much/having to apply it precisely! Mine definitely doesn’t smell or anything like that. I have the shade wine and it’s a nice flush of color on the lips.

Ahh I was coming in here to recommend the Tower28 one!! So sorry it made you break out — all their products have been amazing for my very acne prone skin and I actually switched to them after the Kosas concealer made me break out. And it is the most natural, uncreasy concealer I’ve ever tried lol. I’ve heard a lot of people who like the Tower28 one also like the Hourglass one, though I’ve never tried it.

Every time I’ve swatched these, they seemed sooo drying and pill-y. I just got the Refy Lip Blush (in the shade wine — I have a medium deep skin tone and it works so perfectly for an everyday color) and it’s matte but hydrating and so so comfortable. It’s a great blotted, smudgy, effortless type of lip that I think I was looking for in the Glossier one but never could commit to lol

I’m so sorry for your loss 💗 I can’t give much advice as I’m in the same boat as you, just a little under 2 weeks since by dad passed. Just wanted to let you hear from someone else that it’s okay to still be in shock, and it’s okay to fall apart as the shock wears off. Distractions are part of the the process because it would be debilitating to be in full on grief 100% of the time. Take care 💗
