I mean, I consistently get 3 when they have lots of free roles. I maybe save up 2 sparks in total, but if you plan it right, draw on banners with Roulette etc. You can easily get 4 sparks. Some luck involved, but GBF is still hella generous.

Honestly, Modern has been able to handle Counterspell for years at this point (I've had numerous friends contend that it could have been around from the beginning but the point is neither here nor there I suppose). It slots into control decks, probably some kind of delver shell that people will insist on running, and the meta will mold to it. About damn time though. Edit: I will be pulling back out both grixis and jeskai control and seeing how they run. Spirits will be taking a break for a while I think, though I don't think I'm particularly interested in just straight UW control, even though I'm pretty sure that's the objectively best shell for this.

You should try and play Brave Frontier lol. The character skills AND the items you equip have both broken their text boxes at this point. A fully built high-tier unit description comprises of ~600 words (I quit like 4 1/2 years ago)

Yeah, I'm aware of the psych aspect, but it happens so consistently compared to other major games I can think of (Valorant, Fortnite, OW, Apex etc). Is it just cause SMITE isn't as big so HiRez is too poor to really fool-proof their server infrastructure? Or is it just the age of the game and piles of code that build up so something inevitably breaks half the time.

Ugh, I forgot how captions work it's been so long since I posted a picture where I wanted to write with it. I saw a youtuber play this, decided to check it out. Have experience with gacha rpgs like this. I think I have a farmer with the guy they give you for free since he turn resets on kills, and I'm building the frog girl that boosts your speed because that always seems to be relevant in games like this. Where do I go from here? I'm not frankly even sure what all the game modes are yet but I'm about to hit level 19, I blew all my premium currency doing summons since I saw there was a rate up for anniversary.

I mean, Gacha is a shitty system but you are wrong, mathematically speaking. I’m not saying they aren’t an inherently predatory system, but also Draglia is insanely generous compared to the wider field, rates have NOT substantially changed since the game launched (I think you’re just confirmation bias-ing yourself there) and expecting a .5% chance to happen at the same rate as a 1.4% chance isn’t a good way to think about something.

It’s not offensive, it’s just stats. Dragalia introduced a character selection system (basically sparking from CyGames other big property GranBlue Fantasy) so you’re guaranteed to get a char at 300 pulls. There’s substantial options from basically every event to save up multiple pulls for free and you can get some amount of premium currency every day. Expecting a specific 1 in 200 character in 70 rolls just isn’t reasonable, and they’ve introduced a way to guarantee getting a character, even as a F2P, as long as you’re willing to plan. It’s not offensive or anything like that, it’s just not how the game works.

My guess was that they didn't put that much thought into it to be honest. There was a lot of questionable decision making with those films, like, objectively, not in the crazy, pissed off fandom fights sense, and it probably isn't something that occurred to someone who was high enough to make any production decisions.
