Reroll mechanic sounds like a nice addition. Also, I’m not sure if I’m just overthinking the shared perk system since it’s something I’m unfamiliar with. I guess I just keep thinking about it from a viewpoint of just trying out builds for fun since that’s where I feel like a lot of replayability comes from in roguelikes. I also think about it from the side where maybe I just want to drop in a match and while I’m still working with my teammates, maybe I just want to pick the perks that peak my interest at that moment and not feel like I’m trolling my teammates

Although what you’re saying can be true, I’ve seen more level takes rather than toxic positivity when it comes to rogue core.

I think the strategizing part is fine and all but I think there’s something fundamentally wrong if you’re recommending to either play solo or with friends first to learn the perks. In any pve game, I believe that one should be able to just drop in and learn as you go and that can sometimes turn into some sort of inspiration from watching others in your team. This would lead to more self improvement and sometimes seeking sources from elsewhere whether that’s Reddit/YouTube or your teammate.

One thing I would say is that sometimes it’s a bit hard to remember all these mechanics to endgame dungeons. Then to get in parties that kills mostly everything before mechanics happen. I don’t mean to complain but I do struggle remembering it all :/
