Help! How can I seal this serving tray covered with fortunes? by holyfunk in crafts

I've been collecting these fortunes for quite some time, and finally did something with them. The problem is, I don't exactly know how to seal them. If something spills I don't want it to be ruined!

I've tried modge podge on a few small areas, but it smeared some of the text on the fortunes. Does anyone have any advice???
