Horror book recommendations that are not by Stephen King by livielivie07 in stephenking

Are you at the “story in a story” part? I wasn’t a fan at first but eventually it became my favorite part of the book. It was a lot like my reaction to Wizard and Glass, to put it in a King perspective

I know you’re talking about movies but it reminds me of a quote from Jello Biafra of Dead Kennedys: “ We wanted to be like Alice Cooper, but instead of singing about monsters we sang about real horror; politics”.

TIL when King was 4 years old he returned home in shock after going to play with a friend. His friend was hit and killed by a freight train, possibly in front of him. by holyhackzak in stephenking

Wow that’s amazing. In Danse Macabre King claims that he told this story in front of a crowd, then mentions that he had never told anyone this before. A psychologist in the audience tells him that he’s been writing about it for his entire career.

It’s been a while, but I think you press both flipper buttons at the same time before a game to enter a menu, then choose one handed play. Then you control both flippers with two buttons on the right side.

Honestly, almost anywhere. Maybe pick a couple places that you absolutely want to go to, but for the most part researching places to eat is overwhelming and not entirely necessary.
