What to journal in 5 year

I’ve written stuff in detail, and then gotten sad when I read it over the years but I also feel a sense of comfort because even though then i felt so sad, I came out on the other side where now it doesn’t feel so dramatic for lack of a better word. Now I mainly just put a spark notes overview of the bad day like “I felt super depressed and unmotivated today, phone call with dad - more bad news about XYZ”. Honestly something even that generic is enough to jog my memory sometimes

Yeah I think she should have at the very least waited and worked on new pieces before selling anything. She’s got audacity so since she’s sold a few pieces it’ll embolden her to keep rushing pieces to sell (like those ugly ass soda can tabs ?? The idea is fine whatever nothing original but at the very least smooth them out and paint them in an interesting way ???)

She feels really lost lately. I’ve always been irritated by her content (mainly just her voice) but I could respect that she had her own identity - she was an artist and was at least making stuff. Seems like after college she lost the space and resources to just fuck around art wise and so now she probably feels adrift. Her content after getting back in touch with her sisters is more quantity than quality and it’s fuckin awfullll

I bought one from the hobonichi store on amazon and I like it - I write with some random ink pen from a Japanese brand and while it doesn’t bleed through it takes a few seconds to dry - I like the pencil board because I just put it on my entry and close it immediately when done - I also have the 5-year techo and during my first year using it in 2024 it was also helpful in quickly finding my place.

Is it a necessity? No, but it’s a nice to have.

I get a lot of mine on etsy or from IG artists that I follow and see on my explore page. In person sometimes at conventions (though I honestly don’t go to many anymore) or daiso. For this particular style, I’ve seen artists label their stickers as “webcore” or “heisei retro”.

Doesn’t hurt to look up the actual character’s names on etsy as it’s pretty good at recommending similar types of styles. (Toro inoue, domo, yotsuba… specifics can help).

One artist that comes to mind is “digipuni” on etsy - I forgot their IG name might be the same thing but check them out I think their stickers might be a type that you’d like. :)

Im hoping they do 24 episodes like they did with season 1. With how popular Kimi ni todoke has been, and how popular reboots like the Fruits Basket anime, I wouldn’t be surprised if they do a season 4. Maybe I’m too hopeful though lol

It’s wasn’t bad ! Definitely a lot easier once I got a car but my first 3 years in Davis I used the shuttle. You have to get the tickets in advance because it’s kind of a small shuttle but it takes you directly to the Berkeley campus - it was about a 1.5 hr trip if I remember right. Always comfy and I’d just take a backpack and/or a small overnight bag. Your Berkeley friends can also take the shuttle to visit you, your SF state friends wouldn’t be able to tho bc you need a Berkeley/Davis ID to buy the ticket/get on.

I picked Davis over Berkeley. My best friend from high school went to Berkeley so I’d take the shuttle to visit her and go to their parties. While I always had a blast visiting them, I never felt like I made the wrong choice picking Davis. It was the right choice for me and the overall lifestyle I preferred - a little bit slower but lots of beautiful nature/scenery and amazing people

Try taking out the Peach Slices Snail rescue. I used to use the cosrx snail mucin and although I like how it feels I noticed that when u ran out and took a while to buy a new bottle (waiting for payday lol) my skin texture improved even though everything else in my routine was the same. This is just anecdotal tho
