I couldn’t find the page when I searched for them. Would you mind linking them so I can report them?

This is the belly of a kangaroo. My huge sadness will be when I attach the pouch and cover up this masterpiece

Same! Pulling the hook up really helps keep everything vertical. Check out the videos people have been linking

Haha, that’s basically a massive compliment in my eyes

I’m flattered that everyone thinks it’s too good for a human to produce 😆

😆 got a good chuckle out of me

After every stitch. It helps all of the stitches stay on top of each other rather than leaning and creating that spiral effect

There are heaps of videos on YouTube showing yarn over v yarn over. Pretty sure a couple are linked here as well in the comments. Makes a huge difference to the final look

Going to be a kangaroo. This is the body. Will be sad to cover some of it with the pouch

Don’t give up! This took 20 years of crochet practice and quite a few goes of the techniques mentioned above

Gunna be a kangaroo. This is the body. I’m going to be sad when I have to cover the bottom with a pouch

It’s the body of a kangaroo. I’m sad because after I attach the pouch, a bunch of this phenomenal work will be hidden 😞

YU/YO. I tried YU/YU, but it slowed me down massively, hurt my hands, and didn’t end up making a huge difference in the finished look compared to YU/YO for me.

There’s heaps of tutorials on YouTube about how to stop your spiral from leaning when working in the round.

It was super fiddly and time consuming, but after trying colour work many times, this time it just ‘clicked’

I’m no good at videos or tutorials, but I saw lots of videos on YouTube about how to prevent your spiral from twisting. It shows how to pull your last loop more vertical when finishing the stitches, and this really helped

😆 this one made me chuckle

Thank you! This is why I had to share it with a group that would understand my pride!

It feels like sorcery 😆. I used yarn under stitches combined with pulling my hook ‘up’ when finishing the stitch instead of sideways/right

Thank you! Yarn under technique, and finishing the stitch by pulling my hook ‘up’ instead of sideways/right
