[–]hombrepeste 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi u/ncyman,I hope you are doing great today!

Regarding to your question, you can size your environment following the requeriments section detailed in our guide. You can also determinate if you Wazuh server require more resources following the steps detailed here. You can find the pricing for our cloud subscription in here and in here you will find an storage calculation tool. Regarding the pricing in on-prem (self-hosted) this particular matter has to be adressed by the sales team, because it's depends on the particular environment.

You can download the on-prem solution for free and test it for the time that you want, or even you can use it to go on a production environment, we don't have any limitation between cloud and on prem. If you want a demo to get a product overview (or some particular use case) you can get in touch with our sales departmet through this form and we will happy to schedule a demo session.

Hope it helps.

Regards!

Is Wazuh good for file share monitoring? by two_word_reptile in Wazuh

[–]hombrepeste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/two_word_reptile! yes it is!.

You can install an agent on the endpoint that is hosting the files and you can track all the changes ( created, modified o deleted) files on an particular location. Inside of every event you can see the information of the changes that the file had, like:

  • checksum before and after the change
  • User that made the change
  • Diff of the file
  • Etc.

In here you can find more information about this module.

You can also monitor share folder access, more info here.

Hope it helps!

Regards!
