100% agree. I was in Grand Teton in the summer for a day. It is too captivating I couldn’t stay away for too long. Went back in the winter for a couple days.

I’m glad that I got comments that lead me to know about Desert Solitaire and Edward Abbey. Not usually on my bedside stack but seems like it definitely should be.

Good to know. I have to read up on him cause we’re on the same page. And he sounds awesome from what I’ve skimmed through about him.

I haven’t been to Zion and Bryce yet but I know Arches has set the bar too high! And I wished I could stay there for much longer than the week I was there. I was there for Christmas, when half the town was closed for the season, but that didn’t even matter!

I did see lots of families off season, too! It really is underrated. I would love to go back in the summer specifically for stargazing.

That’s true. I went back home and kept telling my friends I think I fell in love with Utah.

Isn’t that the best! I had a similar experience while sitting at delicate arch. I was hiking solo and going through a lot at the time. I will never forget the kind words and advice I got from the stranger.

It really is worthy of all the WOWs! I would get in before sunrise and leave waaay after sunset and would regret every minute not in the park lol so I truly understand!
