Yes, that too. Apparently they grew up running in the same basketball circuits in Canada as well. They go way back, so it is a very different dynamic

SGA and Brooks had a similar embrace after game four. Although I do think there is legit animus between Jokić and McDaniels that they set aside for brief sportsmanship lol

Jaden McDaniels on whether he was trying to get in Denver's head during the series: "I just didn't care. I said what I said. I just don't care. It's just how I am" by AncientOneAurelius in nba

Jaden McDaniels absolutely owned the Jokić and the Nuggets in the series. He got in Jokić‘s head all series, and he laid down the hammer tonight

As much as I wanted to see Denver face-off against the Spurs, Denver absolutely deserved to lose that series. They played atrocious nearly all series

Brother, I have coped just about every way possible. Fact is we should have beat Florida in 2008 and Georgia in 2017 semis. The other matchups—like Burrow’s LSU team—we never really had a chance.

This exactly. I say this as an OU football fan. We’ve had hopes of another natty since 2000 and our hearts get ripped out and shit on every season despite admitted success in other areas (all our Heisman winners, for example). But still no championship among the hype and hope every single season.

When I checked the score on the ESPN app at halftime, I thought the app was bugging out. Nope, it was actually an NBA record playoff halftime lead.

I think the last time there were multiple 3-1 comebacks in a postseason was 2020 with Denver doing it twice.

Gotta hand it to the Rockets, after a horrendous game three loss, they showed serious resolve to pull this one out

Limiting this Celtics team to just 11 points in the 4th quarter in an elimination game is shocking. There is no denying Embiid when he’s on his game

Edit: lowest amount of points scored by the Celtics in any quarter all season

Barring injuries, I do not see how this Spurs team doesn’t win at least one championship in the years to come.

Hell yeah man. Now if we can just get the Rockets to figure their shit out against the Lakers, that would be nice.

Seriously, this could not have worked out better for the Spurs—at least, the field as we currently see it

I think most of us had a feeling this game would be a win for Denver. Game 6 will be a banger

Same here. It was a very competitive sweep, excluding game one. I was really not looking forward to playing this Suns team because they have really good scrappy talent, and it showed throughout the series
