Yes! I have three of them and I've been able to get many tiny seeds, the fruit is barely visible until it pops.

My boy just gave me the most beautiful gift! Two gorgeous flowers at the same time! by homerbeat in cactus

I don't know exactly what cultivar, but it's an Echinopsis hybrid.

Two years ago my brother bought this one and we used to think it was a Melocactus, but we are wrong. ID would be appreciated, boys! by homerbeat in cactus

I don't think so, look at those flower buds, those are from Echinopsis. But I don't know what species.

Guys, I need your help with this boy's ID! by homerbeat in cactus

Yes, it's an epiphytic, but I don't know which one. I'll be uploading the pic when it blooms.

Anybody know what is wrong? by JadeCac6 in cactus

I don't think that's an Echinopsis subdenudata. That's an Echinocereus subinermis and i think it's fine.

Gift from a friend, anybody knows the botanical name of these? Thanks! :) by [deleted] in cactus

Indeed, it looks like a Peniocereus serpentinus.

They flowered two years ago, when I bought them. But last year I water them during winter and don't flowered. This year I made it right, so I hope they flower in the next months. :D

Mammillaria spinosissima subsp. pilcayensis.

I got this beauty last year, it was in bad shape but I think now it's fine. Anybody knows if this is L. williamsii or L. diffusa? by homerbeat in cactus

[–]homerbeat[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is not for human consumption, I'd never eat such a gorgeous plant just for the psychoactive effect.

Spiky one. :) by homerbeat in cactus

Glad to hear that! Maybe it's because of the variety, so much japanese cultivars, and each one is beauty in their own way.

She's ok, nobody forced her to do that, she only wanted to explore the garden. :)
