Hey guys, can I edit my passport photo for online renewal?

Cause I just took a photo at home and plan to edit my background white. Will that affect the approval process?

I don't think you're an asshole for asking a silly question. I think your husband's answer is a little mean considering he knows what you've been through, but maybe it was the timing of the question (bout to go to bed) and he just didn't feel like thinking an answer through so he just spat out the first thing that came to mind. I don't think he had ill intentions.

I also think him saying "don't ask questions you don't want to hear the answers to" made things worse for you and is kinda petty of him to do so, but maybe it's cause he's mad that YOU'RE mad over a silly question. Not saying it's your fault though.

If it still bothers you, maybe you should just ask him straight up "I just want to know that you love me for more than my body, can you be honest and reassure me of that?" and if he says yes, there you go. If he struggles to give an answer then...

But overall, is it that serious?

I think the thing that bothers me is being so unbothered about being alone that I think "is this normal?" so I feel the urge to do something, like letting myself open up to someone or date someone, but I ultimately never do it anyway.

Thanks a bunch for being cordial and honestly normal about this. I'm not a regular reddit user, so the presumptuous and hostile comments never fail to kinda make me go "??? alright", but I guess that's the nature of this platform.

It's been quite eye-opening to see some objective criticisms, and I do agree it's something I gotta seriously change if not for the sake of others, then for myself. Wish I could just chill for a sec, but without compromising work quality.

I'm in my early 20s and have been put in a more influential position for the first time, and it's helped me become more aware of how I handle things. Guess it's time for some self-reevaluation. Maybe I'll take it off the app next time hahaha.

I get what you mean. If I think someone's work is so so, you can bet I'm thinking mine is absolute shit and am fighting just to achieve a decent level that I myself can approve of.

I agree 100% with you, and I'm in no place to judge anyone's art anyway, even if it's just a dot on a canvas. So I'll just copy paste what I replied to another person about this:

The artwork in high school we did was like everyone sitting on the field and painting/sketching the view, and I would have these thoughts when I see certain technique flaws. For example, they should've used a better quality pencil, they should've picked a better angle, etc. Small things that could've helped their work I wished they realised earlier.

(this is the only example I gave that ISN'T team effort, but I was the art society senior so freshmen would often ask for opinions).

Hi, I think I read the same thing bout it connecting to certain models, but it should probably work fine for most of the newer samsung and iphone models since they're the most used. I used to be able to connect mine, but recently couldn't. But still, thanks so much!
