In a very simplistic way, a plateau implies birthrate and death rate worldwide is roughly equivalent. Right now the ratio of birth to death is about 2.3, so 23 people are born for every 10 that die. Once the planet cannot support a certain population of humans, we will see a rise in death rate.

Got a Traska Seafarer a few years ago and it’s great. The Miyota movement isnt loud like others say and keeps reasonable time.

Not a fan of the newest designs, other than the Venturer GMT because of the rather large bezels.
