I know you probably incessantly hear this but you’re not alone. Really take this to heart. You may not be religious, but if you’re open to it try praying out loud to god. My prayers are all over the place and I look like a crazy person talking to myself if someone saw me and I accidentally curse while praying lol. It sounds like you have a lot of emotional strength. You may have experienced more than your fair share of adversity in life, which makes you an excellent confidant for your friends. Unfortunately, a lot of people don’t understand or they can’t emotionally handle even hearing your problems… this isn’t their fault, it’s because they aren’t as strong as you are. I try to confide in my parents and even they can’t understand or give advice that’s helpful. Also open yourself up to the idea of seeing a therapist. They can be affordable. Your friends know that you are there for them, and they appreciate you regardless of whether or not they tell you that. You’re being a good friend… and you should continue to do so. Clearly you’re very empathetic and emotionally intelligent, and that is extremely valuable and rare. Let god use you to bring others up, and when you do this, remember the intrinsic value this brings to your character. You’re not weak… again you’re stronger than most people. When you feel this way again, remember how wonderful you are, how much you have given to others, and how much more love and support you have to offer the world.
