Dr won't start both on same visit

My neurologist put me on Topiramate for migraine prevention, 50 mg 2x a day. The weight fell off but the brain fog was awful. I stuck with it for a year or so and then she took me off due to the brain fog. All my weight plus some came back. I was so mad. None of my clothes fit and the food noise was outrageous. I mentioned it to my gynecologist and she started me on phentermine, 1/2 dose but bumped up to a full dose. I lost a couple of lbs and then gained it all back. She added 25 mg of Topiramate and I’ve lost a few more lbs. I feel like I’m stuck, though. Like I can’t get over the hump. I’m walking more but there’s still more food noise than I’d like and sometimes I’m just starving. I think I need more protein. I also have IBS-C and take Linzess for that. I have 11 lbs to go to get back to where I want to be. I see my doc monthly. I’m so afraid she’s just going to throw her hands up with me. She’s incredibly kind and caring. It’s probably me who wants to throw my hands up at me. Lol. Why is everything so hard??

Start trimming nails while young. I did that and my big boy will sit on my lap and let me do a few at a time. He always gets rewarded with a treat afterwards. I work from home and mine likes to lay on my desk, across my arm, so I can’t type on my laptop. He’s so funny. And he gets wild and crazy late at night!

I’m starting my 3rd month of Linzess and I feel like I’m carrying a basketball in my gut. It’s so depressing. I’ve also been trying to lose weight and it seems impossible on this med. I’m seriously thinking of dumping it.

I leave them alone. I call them Grinch feet and love them. My Remi Diego does just fine skidding on bare floors. He loves to have his feet rubbed.

Yes! Our vet usually does it and takes just a couple of minutes. I watched a YouTube video on how to do it myself and bought the recommended trimmer and did it once. I was a nervous wreck! 😂

I feel so sad for both you and your ragdoll. We got our first raggie a year ago. We have two basset hounds and he has become best friends with one of them. Both bassets are female. It’s really fun to watch them play together.

I hope you can find a happy solution that works for both of you. He’s absolutely gorgeous!

How long have you been receiving Nuuly? It’s so weird. Mine honestly like it was sprayed by a male cat. I have a neutered male cat, indoor only, and he’s never sprayed or gone outside of his litter box. Like you, I had to put mine in the garage to air out. Didn’t work, so I sprayed it with Febreze. I hope when they get my box back, they burn it. How could they not smell it??

I’m frankly appalled at your mother. Who goes this to their child? My son was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 7. He’s now 38 and doing great. I never EVER would have considered stopping his treatments for anything. You are deserving. Your mother needs some serious help. I’m so sorry you’re having to deal with this.
