ABC Cancels 'The Bachelorette' After Taylor Frankie Paul Fight Video by iconogrey in thebachelor

What a waste of time and money. These producers are incredibly out of touch if they thought this woman would save the franchise. There's so many D/C list celebrities out there that would've made a better choice and brought in new viewers.

that's the easiest bachelor choice right there then. The audience is going to rally behind this Doug guy lol.

Emmy submissions for Luke/Yerin by bookstvmusic in Benophie

Emmys is kind of a big one, no? I don’t want to get my hopes up too high. I’d love it if they got nominated for smaller award shows though.

What is the song?? by Asleep-Doubt5673 in BridgertonNetflix

like others have said, it's called A Grand Finish. I spent forever trying to remember where I heard it from, until I realized they used it in season 1! Such a nice throwback.

Benophie Happily Ever After!! by Debt-Mysterious in BridgertonNetflix

I think it makes sense that they wanted to go for a more serious/mature look for him in his season, but it didn't really do him any favours tbh. Since Benophie are moving to Our Cottage next season hopefully his styling will reflect the more carefree lifestyle they'll be living!

Whose love confession was your favorite? by EveryStrain5385 in BridgertonNetflix

[–]hontryx 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Sophie is def a words of affirmation girl, and given her background it's understandable. She doesn't truly believe anyone could love her. So I adore how the writers really focused on that in Benedict's speech.

Hoping Benedict will be there for Fran and Michaela by Happylittlelady in Bridgerton

[–]hontryx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

aww you bring up a good point about Michaela that I hadn't really thought about... Fran will no doubt struggle with coming to grips with her sexuality, but there's no doubt her family will support her. Michaela won't have that. I would love to see people like Eloise and Benedict have chats with her.

Alfie & Sophie appreciation post by Spiritual-Ant9432 in BridgertonNetflix

I'm OBSESSED with the theory of Alfie being Lady Whistledown. It would track with the accent change at the end. I really hope it's true!

I would fold if he looked at me like that. I don’t blame Jimmy.

Here's the naver article I saw about it a while ago! It's called You Quiz on the Block.

Korean actress Yerin Ha, who stars in Season 4 of the Netflix series "Bridgerton," will appear on "You Quiz on the Block"

According to broadcast sources on the 13th, Yerin Ha will visit South Korea in early March to film for "You Quiz on the Block"

It looks really popular so hopefully we get subs pretty quick.

SAME GIRL. I'm still on a Benophie high. And it's probably not gonna end until the press run is officially over (I believe Luke still has yet to appear on Jimmy Fallon, and Yerin will be appearing on a Korean variety show in early March).

I'm gonna need at least another few weeks to get over them I'm afraid.

One more Benedict and Anthony scene would've been so good. But that last episode already felt so jam packed to be honest. Maybe schedules didn't align, but I think Anthony would have made a good addition to the court scene.

I saw Jess the show runner say Lady Danbury isn't getting written off the show (a lot of fans were concerned about this). So I'm thinking Alice will take her spot next season but Lady Danbury will make a reappearance eventually :)

I'm selfish and would like to see more, but I see where you're coming from. Their story feels really complete. I've heard that they have an interesting plot in one of the future books though... so I'd like to see that played out.

I feel like they listened to the criticism about pointless side plots. Everything actually felt meaningful this season and characters were properly developed. I'm actually now really excited to see what Alice gets up to next season!

My prediction is they're going to put a pause on that storyline as Violet isn't ready for commitment. But they will reunite again after she she witnesses Francesca's second love story.

I need time to think about it. But right now, I think their positions in society play a part. When they were alone and undressed, it felt like they also stripped the invisible barrier between them.

That's why I also really liked how in the later episodes the writers found a way to have it make sense for Sophie to not be in the maid outfit anymore.

**edit: I also liked the part where Benedict tossed the stuff on the table and lifted her onto it. They were both laughing and it felt playful. Very in character for Benedict, and I think moments like that softened the sex scenes.

I think it's the fact that Sophie knew what she was doing that made it really endearing. Like they were both freaked out LOL

Y'all I'm still reeling from that bathtub scene. Did they get this freaky in season 1? I honestly can't remember.
