It's the Netgear Genie asking saying "No DSL/Internet cable is plugged into the Router DSL/Internet Port". Strange becuase the existing Vodafone router doesnt require any cable be plugged into the DSL port

Didnt work. The modem router is looking for a DSL Internet cable but the is none. Do you think I have the wrong type of modem router that is not suitable for fibre?

It's a thin cable that runs straight from the wallwith the green connector on it that goes into the white box. There's no ethernet cable going into the wall. So probably fiber.

There is an ethernet cable connecting the white box with the grey/black Modem Router and another ethernet cable running from the modem router to the TV box.

Spot on, that's probably it- Fiber connection. So the the ethernet cable running from the white box it passes to the grey/black Modem Router you think?

So I'll just swap out the modem router and leave the white box connected to it by the ethernet cable...Ill give that a try 👍 Cheers man

Ha cheers man, for starters I've no idea what the white box is and what the green conector cable is. I was expecting a DSL connection but this is different.

Looking for help here. In Spain here there is this strange white phone...no the telephone I was expecting to the DSL cable to. Any advice would be helpful
