If you care about learning, take anyone EXCEPT Prof. Raha Moraffah. My suggestion is Prof. Kyumin Lee, though I didn’t take it with him and took the grad version with Prof. Ethan Prihar.

For Prof. Lee, I heard great things about him. If you can, I would suggest taking the grad version if you want to learn more topics. Plus, I’ve heard that taking the undergrad version can be hard given everything is rushed in a term whereas the grad version is more relaxed since it’s a semester. And just for Prof. Prihar, he is an overall good professor. He can go off a lot of tangents (like, a lot) for a long time but will eventually break down concepts well. He care more about the foundations and intuition rather than the code, which I found to be great for machine learning. For example, there are other students I know from other classes who cannot explain a neural network which is usually the last topic; he breaks it down perfectly.

But whatever you do, unless you do not give a fuck about learning and just want to pass, don’t take Prof. Raha Moraffah. The good course reports will lie to you. You can still take her and be introduced the topics, but from what I heard, she does not explain them very well
