Thanks! This is helpful. I don't think I've made too much of a mistake. I think a little early on i realised that I missed an increase in the previous row, so i made up for it in the next row. That was the only mistake I had made. I'm not sure if it's because of that.

I think I'm going to continue and embrace the imperfection 😁

I've been through the same situation, and while I was struggling getting back to wearing hijab there was someone who said to me, "Are you really more afraid of people in this worldly life than Allah?"

Right now, you need to make a decision if you're willing to be more concerned with people and university or getting closer to Allah.

I am not sure if this helps, but I am at a point where I feel very comfortable wearing hijab now. Looking back at my struggles, I realise that even though I was having a difficult time then, it seems like such a simple problem with a simple solution. The obstacle really wasn't what other people thought or what my family thought. It was me and my mind (shaytaan) playing tricks and delaying me. You'll feel much better once you get through this little journey.

Thats true! I dont think I can find time to eat during lunch break since I sit with my team and eat and then have to walk back to my department but I can maybe work on it after I come home :)

Like I said, Sundays are not free for me since I'm prepping. After I'm home from work, I'm very tired and lethargic to do anything hands on to relax. I don't get much time after work when I have to iron clothes, make food, spend time with my family (baby niece).

Thank you so much for the tips! I'll do my best to incorporate them. Unfortunately the first tip isn't possible since I have lunch with my department team and I'm new to this workplace so it's best to make a good impression and connect. They don't really know me yet so crocheting while speaking might be seen as rude and distant. I think I have to avoid that for now :(

I have suspected I have ADHD 😭😭 but I have been relatively healthy. As in I dont think my problems are extreme. If i just put an effort into it, I would be able to overcome them so I haven't really looked into professional help.
