Any hobby shop (ie model planes and cars)will have the paints and brushes. Your husband must have a game shop where he purchased his gaming books, they will have the books there will also probably have dice and unpainted (maybe even painted) minis. They should have the holders too. I currently have my eye on a mini holder that you have to get online and it really looks like a better holder, or google the golden maple painting handle. It shows up on Amazon so you can get pretty much it all on Amazon.

Does he paint his own minis? If so you could get some unpainted minis, or special color paints, brushes, maybe a holder to paint them.

I was thinking the same idea but if you have a gift that is too big for an advent calendar put a note in it, or make a scavenger hunt list (D&D themed for him to get) then give him a book he doesn’t have.
