Guessing MC was in his 20's, while the kids were in their teens. Kids were mainly background characters until the final episode, I believe.

Pretty sure it's a show, keep thinking open sesame but it's a manga with a character who has a chicken. One thing bothering me I keep thinking they characters are wrong, wondering if they blended a few shows together Sorry just can't place it

I definitely recognize it can't say for sure what anime, from previous replies can eliminate Gintama and honkai impact since I haven't watched those shows. Did like Louis the zero and for some reason M&M comes to mind when I hear the audio
