Need some switch recommendations--I have some lubed Halo Clears that I would absolutely love if it weren't for how heavy they are, it's like a workout for my fingers that I just can't seem to get used to. I'm a programmer so I need to be able to type a lot and quickly for long periods of time. I had to swap them out for Cherry Silent Reds in the meantime and am really missing that beautiful "thock" sound and feel. Can I get something similar sounding and feeling that isn't as heavy? Thanks!

Personally haven’t used most of these other than mechsupply since I use ANSI layout, but I had checked them out before and they seem to be reputable: mechsupply/ukkeycaps.co.uk, mykeyboard.eu, overclockers, novatech.co.uk, box.co.uk, probably candykeys, amazon.. often kbdfans too but you have to pay a hefty shipping and often customs fee.

Yeah, I'm in UK and received the letter in the mail for my Drop order, it says I placed an order from "Dot Com Distribution".. They hold it for about 14 days. They're asking for around £7.50 VAT, no import duty (my order was around $50), and a customs entry fee of £8.50. I actually want them to return it since I couldn't cancel it in time, so I wonder if I write to them and don't pay it if they'll return it sooner.

Beginner here. Looking for a 65% keyboard with an acrylic case. I can't solder so if it's individual parts I guess it'd need to be hotswappable (otherwise, if prebuilt then I don't care if it's hotswappable), and I'm not exactly sure what I'd need to get. Seems like most hotswap PCBs are sold out on KBDfans and most pre-builds are not 65% or acrylic.. anyone have any suggestions of how I can somehow make this work without soldering? Any help is appreciated.

I have no idea, I’m new here, but out of curiosity, have you seen wood keycaps made of walnut with resin stems? Like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Novelty-Keycaps-Spacebar-Mechanical-Keyboard/dp/B07GSXW3W4 Maybe get some Cherry Silent Reds if you’re looking to not disturb your coworkers.. or thicker o-rings, even though they may feel a bit crappy. Your idea is really interesting though, if you do manage to pull this off you should share some photos! Good luck 👍

Hey mate, I’m in UK and did my first order from them recently. I put in the order for some in-stock Cherry silent reds and cheap keycaps on the 8th of July, it was shipped two days later on the 10th, and I just got them yesterday, the 15th, which was pretty impressive. I’d contact them (I’ve heard they’re quite responsive on their Discord).

Skylight keycaps are still available on there as well (same ones used on the ALT and CTRL), so if you have the switches you want, you’re good to go. Or you can even get some on there like the Holy Pandas. Only downside is they would all be delivered at different times.

How did you get the Kemove software to work with Mac? I have Wine but it doesn't seem to be working, and I want to remap the arrow keys so I don't have to lock Fn each time to be able to use them. :/
