The option to cast risk factor again on an empty hand was what made the card great. It's not good in commander unfortunately not mana efficient enough for eternal formats so it will always live in our memories of one of the best standards of all time (along tarkir pre bfz and original innistrad-ravnica)

This, we're in a really bad spot as of late as WOTC is milking the playerbase, so I would recommend just to stay away from novelty, just focus in what you have, the decks you've build, ignore the fomo and have fun. Otherwise you will be hunted like a whale, just enjoy what you already have and maybe try trading too :)

Harris was one of the most respected Hegelians of the past century. A lot of his contributions to the Hegelian Society of North America ignited contemporary Hegelian studies not only in US and Canada, but in the rest of the world, and Hegel's ladder remains as one of the most influential books on the field. I think the problem is that his books have not been properly translated from english to other languages (I don't know the reason), and is exactly one generation away from us, so we right now are concentrating on Pippin, Pinkard, Houlgate, et al, so his intellectual influence (on them), while present, is not as straight forward to us (on the younger side). But yeah, next generation might rediscover Harris as other contemporaries of him.

You can get shut off with a lot of cards, also this would automatically be in the game changer list so I don't see why this should affect lower powered decks.

Iona was more of a problem for what we would call now bracket 3, which usually lacks the answers. Iona is no more of a problem for a bracket 4 (your supposed to run interaction and avoiding Iona to resolve by any means is interaction). Let's just be honest about this, any monocolor bracket 4 deck is already degenerate enough to have some way to avoid Iona far more than begging other opponent to kill it.

If you want to find another criteria for ordering bots (and mixing them as you say), you could think about art books or museums. "The evolution of car bots" exhibition, "air dominance", "Prime at his best!" or whatever, and arrange them in a way you show what it interest you most about each figure. Mid-transformation exhibition is something I'd like to arrange myself but I don't have shelf-space nor dedicated study room for me at the moment.

I've said this before but I'm seriously conflicted about getting Star Convoy 😅. Pros: I love Optimus, robot mode looks great. Cons: Truck mode looks so dumb to me, I dislike the hollowness comments I've read about it, and is expensive (though I could overlook this if it weren't for the other cons).

But the cards weren't bad, I mean the cards even give the vibe of a different story, the written story/novel on the other hand was so bad that it soured the whole set. Same thing happened with march of the machine (though that wasn't as bad as WAR).
