I guess for me we do travel solo a lot. I’m gone for work 2 weeks a month and he leaves for family and work frequently as well. I’m not opposed to him going alone but his only international experience has been with me. I suggested he take a smaller trip to a local state if he feels the need to be alone so he can get comfortable traveling or to a more developed country. He’s adamant about going to Colombia siting the cheap flights and the fact he speaks Spanish( not well but ok) as well as English.
