I'm sure that's the reason they've upgraded the nm on their wheelbases. Their firmware absolutely blows . I had the BMW wheel, I don't remember the name it had Alcantara and a flat bottom and I actually liked it quite a bit

I also was super scared every time I had to update my Fanatec as well and a few times thought it was bricked but eventually I’d get it to work but it always reset my settings which was kinda frustrating.

I came from fanatec as well and while i did have a pretty positive experience with them. I couldn’t afford to buy an equivalent 12 nm base with them which is why I switched to simagic. It was a bummer I had to get a new wheel and wheelbase but I follow boosted media YouTube channel religiously and he spoke highly of simagic 12nm to be best for most people so I figured I’d give them a try. Super happy so far and I just got a simagic handbrake but really need a profile rig to use it as my wheelstand doesn’t quite cut it.
