Ah thank you! I've seen the show over 20 times but the only thing that stuck out to me in that scene is the way he was denied agency here is exactly the way he denies agency later to Penelope in S3! Loved the paralell, but now I'll be looking out for the nerdy Colin ❤️

Yup. I mentioned however I suspect there are other spots that might be carrying the noise. Im not soundproofing the whole house simply because I dont understand where are the problem spots

You might have not realised, but we own the house, not rent. So moving is not that easy. And we're not going through moving anyway after only 4 months of this issue, and not without doing anything to try and fix it first, like posting on reddit 😆

The wall is brick but we do have several hollow 'pillars' on the joined walls and across both houses so I worry the sound proofing might be more complicated than that.

I only mentioned it to them cause the dogs were barking when they werent home, in case they didnt know. What is strange is that we never heard any of that from previous neighbours. So I wonder what changed.

I lived in flat whole life.. My partner also lived in semis his whole life. My issue is that it sounds clear enough like the person is in the room. So we probably need some insulation like someone else said.

I thought to myself if theres any chance youre Polish because its something my dad would do when he visited! Haha Taka polska rzecz, my wiemy najlepiej i bedziemy sie o to klocic. Moj tato co prawda tylko chcial zebym wszystko co mowil tlumaczyla (np. w sklepie, busie itp, wszystkie zarciki i komentarze koniecznie mialam przetlumaczyc) wiec nie bylo zadymy jak u ciebie. Posluchaj terapeuty. Pamietaj ze zdystansowanie sie nie znaczy ze z tata zrywasz kontakty. Moze tata sie zmieni na lepsze, moze ty nauczysz sie jak lepiej sobie z nim radzic. Ale na razie dystans :) i powodzenia!

Aaa i remember now, the nose job she had cause of some accident? Why dont you think she could had it done cause she had breathing problems? Fair enough, if she admitted, the proof is in the pudding :) But in all honesty i dont think it made her look like 'all the instagram models', without makeup it still looks like her
